EA Sports confirms reorganisation

Publisher EA has confirmed details of a high-level reshuffle at the top of its EA Sports division following the departure last week of Steven Chiang.

Former head of the company’s Global Online Group Andrew Wilson will now head up worldwide development for EA Sports, while 13-year EA veteran Pauline Moller steps up from the role of general manager of EAC to become EA Sports’ new COO.

The departure of Steve Chiang allows us to graduate this new generation of creative leadership,” EA Sports boss Peter Moore said on his blog. Steve helped make a lot of great games with EA, and we understand his wish to try something different after nearly 15 years with the company.

Andrew and Pauline represent an evolution in our creative team, they are a reflection of the deep bench of studio talent here at EA SPORTS, and they will help continue our commitment to the digital transformation of our sports business.”
