Episodic business model for Final Fantasy VII Remake

The forthcoming remake of 1997 classic RPG Final Fantasy VII could be released over several episodes.

That’s according to publisher Square Enix who said the game will be ‘told across a multi-part series, with each entry providing its own unique experience’.

Final Fantasy VII Remake was announced during Sony’s E3 press conference this June afteryears of rumours.

In July, game directorTetsuya Nomura said that there would be some ‘dramatic’ changes made to the original game for its Remake

The first gameplay for the game was revealed during the PlayStation Experience keynote this weekend.

An HD remake of the original 1997 game hit PC in 2013, before it came to iOS in August 2015. Then it was released for PS4 at PlayStation Experience.
