Full COD Elite premium features revealed

Activision has released the full details of what premium subscribers will receive when Call of Duty Elite launches in November.

The list of rewards follows the publisher’s announcements last weekend at COD XP and can be found on the official Call of Duty website.

Annual premium subscriptions will cost 34.99 in the UK, and will entitle users to all of the statistical and community features available in the free version, as well as additional content. Alternatively, they can pick up a year’s Elite subscription with the Hardened Edition of Modern Warfare 3.

Once subscribed, they will receive 20 pieces of DLC released over nine months, including maps, new game modes and Spec Ops missions. Some of this content will be periodically made available to non-subscribers as map packs.

Premium Elite members will be able to enter prized competitions, either individually or as a clan. Clans will also be able to level up their group through clan-specific tournaments, unlocking new in-game benefits and a gold clan tag.

They will receive exclusive in-game clan player cards and emblems, and will be granted access to those of other clans. Individual members will be able to join premium groups as well.

Hours of professional video guides to every weapon and map will be on offer, and premium members can share expert community playbooks and strategies with each other. They will also have eight times more HD video upload capacity than regular members, four times more user storage for match replays and two times greater video export length.

Finally, premium subscribers will be able to access to Elite TV, episodic video entertainment made by Hollywood talent, and early access to test new Elite features.

Those that pre-order and Elite premium membership or buy the Hardened Edition will also be given Elite Founder status. This will earn them an exclusive weapon camouflage, profile skin and an XP boost for their clan.

They will also be given a special Founder in-game player card and emblem, access to a private Founder group and entry into exclusive prized competitions.
