German distributor and marketer of digital online and mobile games, GameGenetics, has expanded its team in Berlin with four senior hires.
Chinh Vu (pictured) has joined as senior business development manager, James Crabb as director of business development, Michael Brinkmeier as head of human resources and Andreas Maechler as PR manager.
CEO and founder Alexander Piutti aims to create the basis for further structural growth of the company with these new hires.
New senior business development manager Vu has lots of experience and an extensive network in the gaming industry. She has previously worked as a product manager at Sega Europe and has also held positions for Nintendo of Europe and Ravensburger Digital over the past five years.
Crabb, from London, previously worked as UK country manager, and later business development and media manager EU, for US game developer Kabam.
Brinkmeier has been working in the same position for SponsorPay since 2010, where he played a significant role in the growth of the team from 40 to more than 100 employees. Prior to that he was personnel officer at i-Potentials.
Finally, PR manager Maechler will take responsibility for press and public relations. Prior to joining GameGenetics, he worked at redRobin Strategic Public Relations where he was responsible for German and international IT and financial clients.
GameGenetics has had to move into a new office twice in the its four year history to accommodate its growing team, and its continuing to hire.
Piutti added: “Digital games are booming, both online and mobile. To further expand our cooperation in more than 20 countries and manage our growing partner network, we are always on the lookout for promising candidates for our team.”
