Gamers can now buy digital Xbox games direct from GAME

Xbox has joined the ever-growing number of games companies that are selling digital games directly through High Street retailers.

From August 15th, GAME will be selling Seasons Passes for the likes of Forza 5, Halo 4 and Gears of War Judgment, as well as individual digital games such as State of Decay and Max: The Curse of Brotherhood. These will be available from all of its stores as well as

Price start from 9.99.

That’s alongside the usual digital points cards.

Points cards have been a booming business for games retailers. Although digital download titles are easy enough to get direct, for gamers that don’t own a credit card (and there’s a lot of them), points cards are the only real option.

Also, buying a points card from somewhere like GAME means gamers can trade-in against them, and also obtain loyalty points.
