GameStop buys into Jolt

Global High Street video games retailer GameStop has acquired a stake in Irish online games network in a move that it hopes will better position it for the future and the rise of digitally distributed content.

Speaking to sister site earlier this year, Jolt CEO Dylan Collins stated that: Our focus is on the North American and UK markets, and with titles which we can acquire or develop with a well-known license.”
