David Darling and Ian Baverstock also set to speak at London event

King.com to keynote second F2P Summit

King.com’s CMO Alex Dale will keynote this autumn’s F2P Summit, which takes place at Rich Mix in London on September 26th.

Kwalee CEO and founder David Darling and Playfuel’s Ian Baverstock are also among the speakers taking part.
Dale will discuss how he built King.com, its games and its monetisation model.

King.com is a worldwide leader in cross-platform casual games with over 30 million unique visitors and more than 900 million games played per month globally.

The online games company offers more than 200 games in 14 languages on mobile devices and Facebook, where it is the sixth largest Facebook games developer.

Other speakers at the conference include Kwalee CEO David Darling and Tenshi Ventures founding partner Ian Baverstock.

Darling will be interviewed by a games industry journalist for his session on freemium business models. Baverstock meanwhile will explore alternative discovery approaches for games on digital distribution.

Tandem Events MD Andy Lane said: “We were delighted with the success of our debut F2P Summit even in March. We received such positive feedback and support from the industry that we’re delighted to be returning again in September.”

The F2P Summit is a one-day conference and networking event that explores all aspects of free-to-play and freemium from the developer’s point of view. Delegates will have the chance to network with around 150 developers.

Passes to the second F2P Summit can be purchased from www.f2p-summit.com for £195 (a saving of £100) up until September 5th 2012.
