Kojima and del Toro to partner on new project

Silent Hills may be no more, but there could yet be a joint venture between Metal Gear creator andfilm director Guillermo del Toro.

The duo’s Silent Hills reboot was scrapped in May, but a new project outside of Konami now looks like a possibility.

I love working with Kojima-san,” del Toro told IGN. We are still in touch. We are still friends and working into doing something together, but that’s not going to be [Silent Hills]”.

The director shared a little more about the original plans for the horror game, stressing that the title was in the planning stages”.
