The publisher has promoted Matt Benson to senior brand manager. Benson, who joined Ubisoft’s UK marketing team four years ago as brand manager, will be overseeing the UK brand team. I’m delighted to see Matt step up into the role of senior brand manager,” said Ubisoft’s head of marketing Mark Slaughter. MICROSOFT LONDON HIRES FORMER RARE DEV
A former production director at Rare has joined Microsoft’s London-based studio. Lee Schuneman joins the new department, which will focus on Windows 8 tablet devices.

AMAZON GAMES BOSS HEADS TO MOBILE PUBLISHER
Former Amazon games boss Graham Chambers has left the retailer for mobile publisher Tag Games. Chambers has joined the mobile publisher and developer as its new head of global sales.

We’ve all seen how the business is changing, and how much more important mobile and free-to-play gaming is becoming,” said Chambers.

I honestly see it as the way forward. Tag is working on great products.”

Chambers has held significant roles in the games industry including MD at Gauntlet Entertainment, MD at Ubisoft and sales director at Nintendo.

LUNCH PR PROMOTES WATSON, DICKSON
The PR firm has announced two key promotions ahead of the busy Q4 sales period.

Kayleigh Watson has been promoted to senior account manager. She was previously account manager for The Pokmon Company International. Ian Dickson has been promoted to senior account executive after joining the company as an intern and following his term as junior account executive.
