Minecraft: Xbox One Edition has a new retail bundle on the way

A newer version of Minecraft: Xbox One Edition is on the way to retail.

Costing 19.99 and due out on June 21st, the Minecraft: Xbox One Edition Favourites Pack includes the base game, two Battle and Beasts skin packs, the Natural, City and Fantasy texture packs and the Festive and Halo Mash-up packs.

The Favourites Pack has been available digitally since last year. The retail version will apparently be available alongside the existing standard SKU.

Microsoft also points out that Xbox 360 players can import their existing worlds into the Xbox One version.

You might not know this, but we have some of the hottest data analysts in the world working at Mojang,” the developer said. And they’ve been crunching the numbers. After months of hard graft, they’ve managed to calculate precisely which add-on packs have sold most on the Xbox One console.

Armed with this hot data, we’ve decided to bundle the top seven packs with Minecraft: Xbox One Edition. That’s over 120 skins and 5 texture packs. Two mash-up packs are also included – they feature tweaked UI and some fresh in-game tunes.”
