Modern Warfare aims for Wii

Activision Blizzard has followed up the recent news of a DS version of military shooter Modern Warfare with news of a port of the 2007 original destined for Nintendo’s Wii.

Treyarch, the studio behind Call of Duty 3 and the recent Call of Duty: World at War, is said to be handling development duties on the Wii outing, news of which first emerged through Kotaku.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be released on the Wii on November 10th – the same day as Modern Warfare 2 (Xbox 360, PS3 and PC) and Modern Warfare: Mobilised (DS).
