New Sonic title sprints into view

Though Sonic obviously wasn’t speedy enough to get to LA before the curtains closed on this year’s E3, he has at least sprinted into clear view with the unveiling of upcoming Wii adventure Sonic and the Black Knight.

The title, which is once again under development at Sonic Team, if a continuation of the fine work put into place in the hedgehog’s debut Wii outing, The Secret Rings.

It’s set in medieval Britain, and sees Sega’s mascot fight with a sword and become a knight.

No other details have yet been announced, but don’t be surprised to see this one collecting one hundred rings at retail before the end of the year.
