THQ's former global recruitment manager now at Call of Duty publisher

Paul Collins joins Activision’s recruitment team

Paul Collins has joined Activision Blizzard as senior talent acquisition specialist to assist and support its European publishing business in continuing to recruit top talent.

“I’m hugely excited to be joining such a talented team here at Activision Blizzard,” Collins told Develop.

“You only have to look at the performance in 2012 and the quality of the franchises to realise how successful this organisation is and how highly skilled the team are here. I’m delighted to get this opportunity to play my part in identifying and recruiting the very best talent for Activision Blizzard across Europe.”

Collins was previously global recruitment manager at THQ, where he was responsible for leading the now-defunct publisher’s global recruitment team. Before doing the games industry, Collins was recruitment and training manager for home appliances firm Robert Dyas.

Activision VP of human resources for Europe, Colin Daly added: “I am genuinely delighted to be adding a great talent like Paul to our team and I am also conscious of the added bonus of keeping that talent in our industry.”
