Plants vs Zombies hitting XBLA tomorrow

The Xbox 360 version of PopCap’s successful desktop defence title Plants vs Zombies will be released on XBL tomorrow (September 8th) for 1200 Microsoft Points – which is around 10.

PopCap also confirmed retail versions of Zuma and Peggle will hit stores later this year.

Plants vs Zombies on Xbox 360 boasts seven game modes including a range of features exclusive to the console. Gamers have access to 21 mini-games, two multiplayer modes – co-op and versus – and 12 unlockable achievements.

With a ton of new features and content exclusive to the XBLA version, we’ve pulled out all the stops to both expand and optimise this adaptation for a hardcore gaming audience,” said PopCap’s head of worldwide studios Ed Allard.

The two new multiplayer modes allow gamers to work cooperatively to defeat hordes of invading zombies, or go head-to-head in a true ‘Plants vs Zombies’ challenge.”
