PlayStation store gets revamp

Those who’d noticed the recent ad on PSN won’t be surprised to hear that Sony has officially confirmed that its PlayStation Store is to receive a visual and structural makeover later this month.

Feeding on the weighty response from users of the service, the main changes will be to the interface and navigation, both of which will be simplified.

Sony also says that the new system has a greater degree of categorisation and boasts what is described as a ‘dynamic user interface’.

However, the off-shoot is that there will be no new content updates for the service to two weeks whilst the changes are being rolled out.
