Ramsdale promises ‘best Gamescom yet’ in EA UK MD’s monthly blog

The UK MD of EA has said that he cannot wait for gamers to get their hands on the publisher’s range of games at this year’s Gamescom.

The selection will include Battlefield 4, Titanfall, FIFA 14, The Sims 4, Need for Speed Rivals and Command & Conquer, as well as EA’s F2P titles and a selection from Chillingo and PopCap.

So the decent weather has disappeared which can only mean one thing; we’re heading into August,” Keith Ramsdale wrote. We were overwhelmed by the plaudits we received at E3 from everyone associated with the games industry and we hope for more of the same in Cologne. Our studios have been hard at work and we’re excited to be showing how our games have developed over the past two months.

This will be the first time that hundreds of thousands of potential customers will be able to get hands-on with our great line-up. Adding consumers is what makes Gamescom so special and it’ll be the first time many of them will be able to get their hands on the next generation of interactive entertainment.

I’ll try to spend as much time as possible on the show floor so if you’re out there and you see me walking about, feel free to stop me and let me know what you think of our line-up. You’ll probably find me in the FIFA 14 area and I look forward to taking on all comers, time permitting.

As I’ve said before, it’s a great time to be at EA and this promises to be our best Gamescom yet.”
