Short-shipped Ni No Kuni Wizard’s Edition selling for $400

A hard-to-find version of Namco Bandai RPG Ni No Kuni is currently selling for up to four times more than its RRP on eBay.

The publisher announced earlier this week that a computer glitch had led to more orders being accepted for the $99.99 Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Wizard’s Edition than the company was able to fulfil.

Those who placed their orders for the SKU after January 17th are affected.

Despite being offered refunds, gamers were left somewhat miffed and have turned elsewhere to obtain the title – and quick-thinking retailers are now taking advantage.

Polygon reports that eBay retailer PlayCanada managed to obtain over 200 units of the SKU and is currently selling them for $400 each. To date it has sold 209 units.

Ni No Kuni will be released in the UK on February 1st.
