Sales of PS4 hardware and software have helped boost Sony’s financials as it reported net income of $257m (£158m) for the last quarter.
The games division reported operating income of $172m (£106m), thanks to strong sales of the PS4 which as of December 28th is said to have sold more than 4.2 million units.
Sales and operating revenue for the games division meanwhile stood at $4.2 billion (£2.6bn) for the three months ending December 31st, up 64.6 per cent year-on-year.
