Splinter Cell: Blacklist pushed to August

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Sam Fisher’s latest adventure, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, which ends with a new release date.

Blacklist, which is being developed at the new Ubisoft Toronto studio, was initially slated for release this spring, which would be anywhere from March to May, but the trailer pegs the game to a 22ndAugust release instead.

No reasons has been given for the delay, neither has it been officially announced by Ubisoft outside the trailer.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist is scheduled for release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, although we suspect that 22ndAugust date won’t apply to the PC version.
