Super Spline Studios are looking for new talent at Develop

Animation services providero Super Spline Studios are looking to hire some new animators at the Develop Conference next week in Brighton.

The Leamington Spa-based studio, opened in 2016 by Aron Durkin and James Childs, will be at the conference and are looking to meet people, especially animators, who are looking for work or have an intersting in joining the company. Currently, the duo have many freelance professionals that they curate for the company.

"We’re taking the model more commonly used in film and visual effects, giving developers and producers of all sizes access to a range of high-quality but affordable animation services without the need for permanent
and expensive in-house teams," said co-founder Aron Durkin. "We know what it takes to design and direct an efficient and effective animation pipeline, and how to integrate it on a budget or within the constraints of a well-established licence, so we can take on as little or as much as needed.”

"We’re both incredibly passionate about our craft and we love to meet new animators and discover new techniques," added co-founder, James Childs. "But we have high standards too, so we’re only looking to work with the best. So get in touch if that’s you!”

The studio has been working with game companies and recently have been supporting indie projects like Volume by Mike Bithell Games and DRG Initative by SlingShot Cartel. "Our goal at SlingShot Cartel has always been to partner with the best in class freelance teams in the world and also to have them become part of our game team, said SlingShot Cartel creative director, Jamie Jackson. "These 2 factors are absolutely key to the success we have had with our model to date. The guys at Super Spline have fitted perfectly into both of these remits. They picked up our animation pipeline late in the day for The DRG Initiative and expertly navigated it into our first public build with complete professionalism. They quite literally became our animation team."
