Ubisoft Montreal is once again listed as lead developer, with the Canadian team collaborating with nine other Ubisoft studios in Toronto, Quebec, Annecy, Montpellier, Kiev, Singapore, Shanghai, Chengu and Bucharest.
Ubisoft Quebec and Singapore have been working on the Assassin’s Creed series since 2010’s AC: Brotherhood, while Annecy and Bucharest have been working on the multiplayer content in each title since Brotherhood.
Assassin’s Creed Unity was announced back in March and is in development for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. It will be set in Paris during the French Revolution.
