Microsoft has demonstrated the possibilities of integrating two of its latest devices; Windows Phone and Kinect.
A video on the tech sharing can be found below.
The footage shows a standard Kinect Rally Ball game on the Xbox 360 – where players have to move their limbs to catch balls as they approach.
However, with the integration of Windows Phone, a second player can influence the trajectory of the balls using the smartphone’s touch screen.
Microsoft showed off the demo at the Mobile World Congress event today in Barcelona.
It is not likely such tech integration is planned for commercial release, according to a Venturebeat report.
Windows Phone 7 currently features rudimentary Xbox Live integration, where users can view friend activity, achievements, and play a limited number of arcade games.
