PlayStation Plus has suddenly become exponentially more enticing for Japanese Vita owners.
An existing program called UMD Passport offers Vita owners the chance to carry over their compatible PSP games to Vita for a discounted price.
However, Siliconera reports thatfrom September 17th PlayStation Plus subscribers will be offered access to the entire UMD Passport catalogue up until the end of the year. That’s some 250 games.
Included in the selection are the likes of Monster Hunter Portable 3rd, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and several Final Fantasy titles.
With UMD Passport having never made it outside of Japan, the chances of this being rolled out in Europe or America seem slim.
