Xbox One’s Amazing Spider-Man 2 swinging to retail this month

Activision has said that The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be released physically on Xbox One in the UK some time in early May.

In mid April the Xbox One version of the game mysteriously disappeared from release schedules, with Activision simply saying that it was working with Microsoft in an effort to release The Amazing Spider-Man 2 video game on Xbox One”.

Then the game made a surprise digital appearance on Microsoft’s console alongside other formats on its first day of release in North America. The same subsequently happened in the UK, although the disc version never appeared in shops.

We’re still none the wiser as to the reasons behind Peter Parker’s no-show on Xbox One.
