Retail reveals Split/Second DLC

Disney’s Split/Second: Velocity hasn’t even hit shelves yet but word of digital add-ons has already emerged through pre-order initiatives.

Online retail giant Play.com will be giving away the first DLC pack for the upcoming racer free to anyone that pre-orders the game through its site.

While this deal has yet to be listed on Play.com, the offer was revealed through an ad in the latest copy of Edge. The ad’s reference to the ‘first DLC pack’ also confirms more content will be released at a later date.

No other details for the have been given, but the downloadable add-on is likely to contain new cars, tracks and possibly set-piece attacks.

Split/Second is due for release on May 21st, and delivers an intense racing experience where gamers can trigger environmental traps to destroy other racers on the track.
