Dixons opens concept store with floating screens

Dixons Travel has unveiled its first new concept store at Gatwick Airport, with floating screens, 10-inch tablet ‘look books’ and a ‘KnowHow’ bar.

The new 1,466 square foot space will feature a mixture of the latest tech products and a number of travel essentials. 10-inch tablet ‘look books’ will sit next to products allowing customers to find out more information and associated offers.

The Dixons Travel store will be fitted with a KnowHowbar, giving customers hands-on tech advice and repairs. As well as this, there will be digital visual merchandising tables with 32-inch rear projection ‘floating screens’ over specially themed areas.
