Licensed 4U adds direct-to-retail distribution

The sales firm headed by industry veterans Adam Prichard and Roger Large is now offering a direct-to-retail service.

Licensed 4U’s new service offers foreign publishers and developers a cost-effective route into the UK marketplace.

It has already signed MSL Benelux to release DS versions of Tropical Lost Island, Casual Classics and Mysterious Adventures in the Caribbean – all due on November 26th.

These will be followed by PopCap Games’ DS titles Bejeweled Twist and Bookworm on January
28th, 2011.

Licensed 4U was formed by Prichard and Large in 2008. They’ve now hired sales professional Luiz Ferreira to work with Large and manage the day-to-day UK business as it ‘aggressively’ grows its offer.

Prichard told MCV: After the success we’ve experienced representing quality publishers over the past two years it makes sense for us to offer a direct-to-retail service for current and new partners who wish to expand their presence in the UK.

We are excited about our line-up and have more announcements to make in the near future.”
