NBA Live 15 heading to Xbox One and PS4

EA’s basketball series is the latest release added to an already busy October for games retailers.

NBA Live 15 will launch on PS4 and Xbox One on October 7th. It’s also the same day that 2K Games’ NBA 2K15 is dated to launch.

The announcement was made by executive producer Sean O’Brien, who also stressed that NBA Live 15 would address many of the issues that riddled last year’s edition in the series.

"As I’ve said previously, we know we fell short in two major areas with NBA Live 14," wrote O’Brien in a statement.

"5-on-5 gameplay didn’t have the depth and polish of an EA SPORTS game and our visuals just weren’t up to expectations for a next-gen title. We’ve been laser-focused on making sure that this isn’t the case with NBA LIVE 15 and I’m really excited with our progress in those two areas."
