Ubisoft partners with Nvidia for upcoming PC titles

Ubisoft has partnered with Nvidia to include several of the latter’s graphics technologies in its upcoming PC games.

Games such as Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and Watch Dogs will all benefit from Nvidia’s TXAA antialiasing, HBAO+ (horizon-based ambient occlusion) and advanced DX11 tessellation.

Details on how this tech has been implemented in Blacklist can be found on this Nvidia blog post.

PC gaming is stronger than ever and Ubisoft understands that PC gamers demand a truly elite experience – the best resolutions, the smoothest frame rates and the latest gaming breakthroughs,” said Nvidia’s senior vice president of content and technology said.

For the sake of a large section of the Indian PC gaming audience, we hope this partnership also makes Ubisoft’s more scalable for mid-range PCs.

As part of this partnership, Nvidia will bundle the PC version of Splinter Cell: Blacklist with graphics cards based on the GTX 660, 660 Ti, 670, 680, 760, 770 or 780 GPUs from selector vendors.
