Rock Band 2 for PS3, PS2 and Wii dated

EA has announced that Rock Band 2 will arrive on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 2 on March 27th, with the Wii edition set for April 24th.

The game will retail for 49.99 on PS3, 29.99 on PS2 and 39.99 on Wii. EA has also announced new prices for the stand alone guitars (now set at 39.99) and drums (49.99) while the instrument edition featuring drums, guitar and a microphone will now retail for 89.99.

In addition, gamers can now purchase the instrument edition alongside the software for 119.99 on PS3 and Xbox 360, and for 109.99 for PS2 and Wii.

Earlier in the week, EA announced a PSP edition of Rock Band is also in the works.
