SCEE to replace riot victim’s PSP

The injured boy who was mugged during the London riots will have his PSP replaced, if SCEE can get hold of him.

Ashraf Haziq, a 20-year old Malaysian student, suffered a broken jaw during the recent disturbances. He was bleeding on the side of the road, when thugs came by, seemingly to assist the boy, onlt to mug him of his possessions, which included a PlayStation Portable.

The situation has caused an outcry and a website has been set-up in a bid to help the youngster.

In steps SCE UK marketing chief Alan Duncan, who has asked for the boy’s details so Sony can replace his stolen PSP and games.
