ShopTo achieves record market share has recorded its single biggest weekly share of the games market in the last 12 months.

The retailer recorded a 183 per cent increase in its share of the market compared to the same week in 2009. Chart-Track shows that the market is down 15.6 per cent year-on-year. broke its previous market share record with high sales of F1 2010, Dead Rising 2 and Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock, according to Chart-Track figures.

For the year-to-date the retailer’s share of the market is up 84 per cent against an overall software market decrease of 13.7 per cent. CEO Igor Cipolletta said: We are delighted by our latest results which show our continued expansion, despite the economic climate.
