Soedesco has announced its third original IP, Real Farm Sim, which will be released physically and digitally on PS4, Xbox One and PC in Q4 later this year. The game will also receive support for the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, with a Switch version to come shortly afterwards.
Developed by the Netherlands-based Triangle Studios, Real Farm Sim will join the music-themed RPGAerea(also developed by Triangle)andAdam’s Venture: Origins as part of its original IP portfolio, strengthening the publisher’s mission to ‘publish games for everyone’.
We noticed a lot of interest in the farming simulation genre, but we feel nobody’s really bringing anything new to the table," Soedesco’s executive manager Hans van Brakel said in a statement.
"With Real Farm Sim, we want to improve the farming simulation experience with new-gen game mechanics and new-gen graphics. The game is called Real Farm Sim for a reason: it gives players the real farming experience.”
Real Farm Sim aims to be the most immersive agricultural sim around, with native 4K environments and a huge open world. There will be a career mode where players can advance from a simple farm hand to what Soedesco describes as ‘the agricultural A-list’, as well as a free mode where players take on the role of an established farmer. The game will also have a real time economy, livestock and a wide array of farm vehicles and machinery to drive and maintain.
