SONY: Assassins Creed 2 features PSP link-up

Assassin’s Creed 2 will connect with its PSP sibling, Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines, Ubisoft has announced.

Connecting up the two games will unlock extra weapons in the PS3 version of the game.

Both titles are due for release this Christmas, with Bloodlines due in the US on November 10th – the same day as Modern Warfare 2.

A gameplay demo of Assassin’s Creed 2 was shown during the Sony pre-E3 press conference.

Clearly the connectivity between the PSP and the PS3 differentiates the PlayStation,” said SCEA boss Jack Tretton.
