Sony’s end-to-end” 3D solution has kicked off the final of the platform holder press conferences at E3, with Guerrilla Games boss Hermen Hulst taking to stage to demo a 3D level of the upcoming Killzone 3.
It was confirmed that the game will be released in February 2011 – slightly earlier than previosuly thought.
The audience, all equipped with 3D glasses, were treated to a savage level seemingly set on an abandoned tanker. First-person use of the much-discussed in-game jet packs was also displayed.
Visually the game looks very impressive – no surprise seeing as its predecessor, Killzone 2, still stands as one of the best looking next-gen games on the market.
