Sony, Mercedes-Benz partner for Gran Turismo 6 promotion in India

Sony and Mercedes-Benz have come together to promote Gran Turismo 6 in India through a promotion that will span 14 cities across the country.

The Mercedes-Benz GT6 Racing Challenge will see India’s best Gran Turismo players take on each other in a multi-city championship that will take place across 42 PlayStation zones” in large format stores like Reliance, Landmark, Croma and Jumbo as well as specialist retailers and gaming lounges like Game4u, Zinklo and Gamineazy.

From now until 1st December, fans can visit these venues to participate in this virtual championship on GT5, and two finalists will showcase their skills in Gran Turismo 6 at the game’s launch in Mumbai on 6th December.

The Mercedes-Benz GT6 Racing Challenge will make its way to 14 major cities, including Mumbai, New Delhi, Gurgaon, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Lucknow and Pune.

Spot the Gran Tuismo Mercedes-Benz car

The Gran Turismo 6-Mercedes Benz promotion will translate into the real world by way of GT-branded Mercedes-Benz cars that will be touring Mumbai and Delhi, stopping at popular landmarks along the way.

The partnership with Mercedes-Benz allows us to offer a combination of the virtual and real life experience of driving one’s dream car. Gran Turismo 6 focuses on the high-end simulated driving experience. The GT6 branded Mercedes-Benz car is an opportunity to relive the experience in real life as well,” said PlayStation India head Atindriya Bose.

Sony is also giving fans of the PlayStation India Facebook page the opportunity to win a ride in the GT6-branded Mercedes-Benz A Class. They can stand a chance to win by spotting the GT car in their city and inboxing a picture of it to the PlayStation India Facebook account.
