Sony warns of Move shortages

PlayStation move stock is likely to be hard to come by until 2011, platform holder Sony has warned.

SCEA’s senior VP or marketing Peter Dille told VentureBeat that Sony misjudged the demand for the stand-alone Move controllers” and that stores are running low across Europe, America and Japan.

That bodes well for the holiday selling season,” he explained. We have a catch-up problem in all three territories that will last until January or February.”

Last week Microsoft warned that anyone who hasn’t yet pre-ordered an Xbox 360 Kinect will have difficulty obtaining one prior to Christmas.
