Splyce re-signs its entire LoL roster

Splyce has announced that it has signed every one of its players from the 2016 season, meaning the team will be sticking together for 2017.

After contracts expired Martin “Wunder” Hansen, Chres “Sencux” Laursen, Mihael “Mikyx” Mehle and Kasper “Kobbe” Kobberup all left the organisation, looking to explore other offers. This only left Jonas “Trashy” Andersen signed to the team.

However this week all four of the players that tested the free agency waters returned to the Splyce organisation, as did team coach Jakob “YamatoCannon” Mebdi, who was a major factor in the team’s impressive late season run.

In 2016 Splyce went from battling to stay in the league in Spring to placing second in Summer and booking a spot at Worlds through the EU gauntlet. They ultimately disappointed at Worlds, but even making it there was a massive achievement for the team.

“I am happy to annouce [sic.] that I will be staying with Splyce for another year, looking forward to next year and what we can achieve :)” said Sencuz on Twitter.

Wunder then Tweeted: “Happy to announce I’ll be re-signing with @Splyce for the upcoming EULCS season. Looking forward to another year with the boys!”

Splyce will now be looking forward to the start of the EU LCS Spring Split early next year. In the meantime they will be practicing a lot and trying to figure out how to play on the new patch.
