The fifth Star Ocean title, Integrity and Faithlessness, is coming to PS4 next year.
Originally unveiled in April, Square Enix took time during its E3 press conference to show off some of the title’s gameplay – although it was noted that many elements of the title are still temporary.
This includes the framerate, which will be bumped from the shown demo’s 30fps to 60 by time of release.
It’s a typically flash RPG affair, with mentions of stardates and Warriors of Light.
Like all of the past entries in the franchise, Star Ocean 5 will be created by Tri-Ace.
The PS4-exclusive title will come to North American and Europe next year, following a Winter 2015 release in Japan.
