Street Fighter X Tekken Vita dated for October

Capcom has slapped a release date on the Vita version of Street Fighter X Tekken, sharing a few details on what Sony’s handheld will specifically bring to the port as well.

Street Fighter X Tekken Vita hits on October 23rd, a little over six months after the launch of the console versions.

The port will include local multiplayer, ad hoc fight requests, submitting/downloading custom character builds, and any PS3 DLC purchased will be automatically transferred over to the Vita as well.

The game’s release has been marred by controversy over player displeasure regarding on disc extra character DLC.
