Super Meat Boy Forever charging onto PCs and tablets

A new Super Meat Boy game has been revealed at PAX.

It’s called Super Meat Boy Forever and is an auto-runner currently in development for PC and tablets.

Joystiq reports that it’s being made by the creators of the original game and Indie Game: The Movie stars Edmund McMillen and Tommy Refenes.

There’s no word yet on a release date, nor much in the way of available details.

However, you can be sure the game will be brutally difficult with a focus on repeated attempts at the same short, savage levels. The fact it’s an auto-runner also suggests that it’s being made with tablets primarily in mind.
