It follows news from Activision that Skylanders is the most lucrative games series in the US and Europe this year, and the toys are currently the No.1 action figures.

The publisher kicked off its marketing blitz earlier this summer, with ads around kids movie blockbusters Monsters University and Despicable Me 2.
Activision will ramp up this multimedia campaign ahead of Swap Force launch with a mix of digital, print and outdoor marketing. This activity will continue into the Christmas shopping period.
