The Last of Us soundtrack is coming to vinyl

Music lovers, gamers and hipsters alike rejoice – one of the most celebrated video game soundtracks in recent years is landing on wax.

Thanks to Mondo, which has brought a number of movie and game OSTs to vinyl over the past few years, The Last of Us’ soundtrack has been pressed into a four-disc collection.

The $75 (48) boxset includes all of the music from the main game, as well as from its DLC expansion Left Behind, captured on 180 gram heavyweight vinyl.

It’s all contained in beautiful sleeves and a box designed by Jay Shaw and cult artist Olly Moss, who you may know from his iconic Star Wars prints, the latter of which is currently working on upcoming indie title Firewatch.

Composed by Brokeback Mountain and Babel composer Gustavo Santaolalla, The Last of Us’ soundtrack was showered with accolades upon the game’s release in 2013, including placings on multiple ‘Best-ever video game soundtrack’ lists.
