Time-bending FPS Superhot breaks Steam Greenlight record

Superhot has become the fastest game ever to be greenlit on Steam’s Greenlight service.

It achieved the goal after just five days.

The FPS is based on an innovative mechanic that sees time progress only when the player is moving. It’s available to play online for free right now and has been the talk of the industry for the last week.

The Greenlight version promises lots of new features including a greater variety of enemies and weapons.

Thanks to your AMAZING support we passed Steam Greenlight in mere five days! It was really SUPER. FAST. SUPER. FAST,” a statement on the game’s Greenlight page read.

We’re very excited about that, but ahead of us lies an even greater task – right now we have to make this game happen.”
