Ubisoft reveals new Ubisoft Quebec adventure, Gods and Monsters

The team behind Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Ubisoft Quebec, has revealed Gods and Monsters, a “new storybook adventure about a forgotten hero on a quest to save the Greek gods”.

Announced at yesterday’s Ubisoft E3 presentation, the company confirmed the all-new game will release on February 25th, 2020, for Nintendo Switch, PC via uPlay, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One.

“Prove your heroism by fighting dangerous mythological creatures and taking on their fearsome leader in a face-off for the ages,” Ubisoft says. “Explore a beautiful fantasy world where tricky trials, treacherous dungeons, and heroic feats await. The journey will be as challenging and rewarding as the final destination, and you will emerge as the hero you are meant to become.”

The game will also be available on Ubisoft’s all new subscription service, Uplay+, which was also revealed during Ubisoft’s E3 2019 conference.

PC subscription service Uplay+ will launch on September 3rd with a price tag of $14.99/month (UK pricing TBC). Ubisoft is promising over 100 titles at launch, “including new and upcoming releases, premium editions and DLC and post-launch content.” That includes Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Quarantine, Ghost Recon Breakpoint, and Watch Dogs: Legion, which both got extensively detailed during the conference.
