UK games channel targets 12m viewers

Ginx expects a potential audience of over 12m when it launches its games TV channel next month.

The makers of former Bravo show, GameFace, already broadcasts video games programming via 24-hour dedicated channels in Indonesia, Asia and Europe.

A UK version of the channel is due to launch in March.

There is an appetite to watch gaming on TV, with 35 per cent of people saying they could imagine watching our channel,” said Ginx CEO Michiel Bakker.
