US: Call of Duty World at War dated

Mega-publisher Activision-Blizzard has confirmed that Treyarch’s anticipated WWII shooter Call of Duty: World at War will be released on 360, PS3, Wii, DS and PC on November 11th.

There’s no word yet on a European release date, but the odds are now surely on its continental arrival occurring on the following Friday – November 14th.

The upcoming title is based on the same game engine as the world-conquering Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, though rather than a contemporary setting the title has headed off to the historical pastures of both WWII ravaged Japan and Russia.
