MCV has teamed up with Xbox to look back at the legacy of one of the platform’s biggest franchises – Halo.
As Halo: The Master Chief Collection brings remastered versions of Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4 to the Xbox One, the first entry in the MCV Evolution of… video feature series will focus on the 13-year history of the Halo series.
Produced in association with Xbox, MCV Evolution of… Halo includes interviews with the developer of Halo: The Master Chief Collection and upcoming title Halo 5: Guardians, 343 Industries, as well as some of the fans of Halo from across the industry, including game GAME and specialist video site Outside Xbox.
The video not only examines why Halo has continued to be so popular among gamers, but also looks forward to the wider future of the expanding franchise, as Ridley Scott’s Halo: Nightfall and Steven Speilberg’s Halo TV series prepare to hit screens ahead of Halo 5 late next year.
