VIDEO: PES 2015 trailer offers first gameplay glimpse

The first video showing Konami’s PES 2015 has been released.

In it we see Italian club side Juventus squaring up to Germany’s Bayern Munich. Specific gameplay upgrades are not mentioned, although like last year’s effort it looks visually impressive.

Early reaction on the assorted PES fan forums is probably best described as ‘muted but optimistic’.

The game is due out on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC at some stage this year, most likely in September.

In February Konami’s European boss Shinji Hirano told MCV that the series is ready to make a comeback”, adding: We know what’s been going wrong with PES, we are working on that. The next version is totally changed. 2014 is a transitional year for the franchise, so expect big things.”
