Watch Dogs gets a new set of minimum PC requirements

The creative director of Watch Dogs has revealed a new set of minimum required PC specs for upcoming title Watch Dogs.

Creative director Jonathan Morin confirmed on Twitter that the game will require an Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 2.66Ghz or AMD Phenom II X4 940 3.0Ghz CPU, a 1024 VRAM DirectX 11 Shader 5.0 GPU, 6GB of RAM and 25 GB. It will also need a minimum of DirectX 9.

These specs are more or less identical to the minimum specs revealed last October, although at the time Ubisoft specified either a GTX 460 or Radeon HD 5850 GPU.

Morin hasn’t confirmed the current recommended specs, although if last October’s list was correct these will be a multithreaded quad core Intel i7-3770 at 3.5Ghz or eight core AMD FX-8350 at 4Ghz, a GPU with 2GB of VRAM and 8GB of system RAM.

It was also previously said that the game requires a 64-bit OS, be that in Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8.
